An author friend told me he’d be really annoyed if fanfiction were to be written using his characters.
As an FYI, I’d be honored if you wrote fanfiction on my characters (once my books are published, duh). I would love for a whole fandom to come out of the Italian saga! It would mean my story connected with the readers!
So, once they’re out there, go nuts. Feel free to change my characters’ sex orientation, race, tastes,or romantic interests. Blow my mind, but most of all, make them love you!
